ProMaster 82mm Variable ND Filter - Basis (2 - 8 stops)

The ProMaster 82mm Basis VND filter offers seamless control over exposure by reducing incoming light between 2 and 8 stops, all with a simple twist of the ring. This variable neutral density design replaces the need for multiple ND filters, providing precise adjustment anywhere within its range. In still photography, the filter enables slower shutter speeds, introducing creative motion blur-ideal for effects like smoothing water or capturing dynamic movement. For videographers, where shutter speed is often dictated by frame rate, the VND filter allows for wide apertures in bright conditions, maintaining shallow depth-of-field without overexposing the image. Each ProMaster Basis VND features matching front and rear filter threads, ensuring compatibility with lens caps and allowing stacking with other filters of the same diameter.
