The Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD lens, equivalent to 25.5-105mm, is designed for APS-C-format FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras. Its broad zoom range from wide to short-tele is perfect for everyday photography, while the fast f/2.8 constant maximum aperture performs well in challenging lighting conditions and enhances control over depth of field. The lens incorporates specialised optics, such as aspherical and low dispersion elements, to deliver sharp, clear images with accurate colour. Tamron's BBAR coating on individual elements minimises flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast in backlit and harsh lighting conditions. The lens also features a Vibration Compensation image stabilisation system, reducing camera shake for steadier photos and videos in low light. The RXD stepping motor ensures quick, near-silent autofocus, with full-time manual focus override and a minimum focusing distance of 7.5". The lens is moisture-resistant and the front element is fluorine-coated to protect against fingerprints and smudging, making it suitable for use in adverse weather conditions.
